Portland Urban Innovation Roundtable
The America21 Project is introducing an unprecedented innovation in urban economic development: The Urban Innovation Roundtable.
Starting with Portland, Oregon, A21 seeks to establish a prototype process that can be replicated in urban regions across America to rapidly develop inclusive urban innovation ecosystems that strengthen the overall regional economy while investing in local resources and talent.
The Portland Urban Innovation Roundtable is an unprecedented partnering of leaders in the established economic infrastructure and leaders in the economically disconnected sectors working together to develop an active urban innovation ecosystem that strengthens the economy of the region and invests in an inclusive local process from pipeline to productivity. A21 offers a framework, goals and strategies for local leaders to adopt, edit or revise to fit their specific region. View the presentation below for insight into the A21 approach to introducing the Portland UIR.
